EXFOLIATION!!! Ok, ok, ok, now that I have your attention lol exfoliation is key when it comes to taking care of your skin. Depending on your skin type I recommend exfoliating 1 to 3 times per week. Feeling dry? Exfoliate feeling oily? Exfoliate your products don’t seem to be working? Exfoliate. You need to remove that top layer of dead dry skin so that when you put on your products they’re able to penetrate into the skin instead of sitting on top of that dry skin. Making sense? I personally do a full scrub on the days I wash my hair (I typically wash my hair 1-2 times a week) while my conditioner is sitting, I grab one of my favorite exfoliants, purity detox scrub @cosmedix_ This has a combination of Poppy & date seeds, jojoba beads, coconut and salicylic acid. I scrub my face, down my neck and décolleté and even the tops of my shoulders. Do you exfoliate?
