Kasey Boone’s 5 Favorite Holistic Facial Add Ons

Kasey Boone’s 5 Favorite Holistic Facial Add Ons

If you came to this blog to learn how you can start elevating your client’s experience, then you came to the right place. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years as an esthetician, it’s the importance of keeping it FRESH and EXCITING in the treatment room.

How can you do that? Through add-ons like aromatherapy, herbal steam, the list goes on and on. In this blog, I’ve put together my top 5 FAVORITE holistic add-ons - at the end of the day, it’s not just about what we put on the skin, it’s also about how we take care of our body as a whole.

Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite add-ons for a luxurious holistic facial.

#1: Bet you didn’t think of this… ear seeds.

This is such a fun add-on for your facials, and not to mention it’s super cute too! A lot of us etsys are already working in this area anyway for our clients, so why not take this opportunity to make the facial more exciting and beneficial?

There are a ton of long-term benefits from using ear seeds. To give you a quick overview; ear seeds are essentially acupressure focused on the ear that promotes full-body wellness. By stimulating pressure points in the ears, this helps with health, flow, stress reduction, and so much more. Do yourself a favor and get these for your treatment room like now! But be sure to grab these gold ones, they are my absolute favorite.

#2: Dial up the relaxation with a sound bath.

The perfect way to begin or end any facial! This might sound a little woo woo, but hear me out. This is a perfect way to promote a full-body holistic experience for your clients, and all of mine love it! I’ll do a sound bath while they sit under the oxygen dome or at the very end of a facial too. It’s such a pleasant and relaxing way to wrap up the treatment. I’m obsessed with this one, if you don’t already do sound baths - time to hop on the train!

#3: Herbal steam, yasss please.

A no-brainer add-on for your facials! Recently, I did a collab with My Friends Use This, and I developed a blend of organic herbs and flowers that are sold exclusively on their website. If you haven’t already picked this up for your treatment room - now’s your chance!

Not only is this herbal steam filled with benefits, but it’s also a great upsell in the treatment room and so cozy, perfect for the fall! You can read more about it here alongside how to use it for my 3 step process for a perfect steam.

#4: Scalp Treatment. In my opinion, skin health starts at the scalp!

I don’t know about you, but I definitely struggle with chronic dry scalp. Especially in these fall and winter months. Ironically, so many of us struggle with it but we neglect to actually take care of our scalp. So, let this be your reminder to give your scalp some love and start treating it.

#5: Sprinkle on top some aromatherapy.

If there is ONE consistent comment every single client has that walks into Glow Skincare, it’s that everything smells so good. The bathroom, the lobby, the treatment room, they can’t get enough of it. Scent is important! It’s a simple but highly effective way to level up your treatment and make it memorable for your client.

Here are a few of my favs for aromatherapy -

Crystal Candle, and a good room spray, either from Aud & El (Get 10% off your order using code GLOWSKINCARE) or you can check this one out from Amazon too. (Obsessed with it all!)

There you have it! The 5 add-ons for a magical holistic facial experience.

If you use these in the treatment room, let me know how it goes and which one ends up being your favorite. Comment below and let me know if you want me to do a future blog diving deeper into any of these add-ons too! I love to hear your feedback.

Until next time,
